State Road 58 To Close For Removal of Railroad Crossing

(BEDFORD) - The Indiana Department of Transportation is announcing that State Road 58 will be closing in Bedford for the removal of a non-functioning railroad crossing.

On Monday, June 23, at approximately 7 a.m., contractor's crews will close Ind. 58 from the junction of Ind. 37 to the junction of State Road 446.

Crews will be removing the rail crossing 1.79 miles east of Ind. 37, between "L" and "K" Streets.

All work is scheduled to be complete by 6 p.m. local time on Friday, June 27, weather permitting.

Local traffic will have access to the point of closure. The official detour will route traffic on Ind. 37, U.S. 50 and Ind. 446.
