St. Vincent Salem Hospital To Host Grief Brown Bagger

Last updated on Friday, June 6, 2014

(SALEM) - Grief is hard to deal with when you lose someone close, but dealing with the grief from losing a child can be hard to bear.

Former Chaplain and Certified Grief Trainer, Walter Glover will lead a brown bag grief seminar on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Vincent Salem Hospital. Those attending can bring a sack lunch.

"This seminar is meant to help those who are grieving the loss of a child to understand the processes they are going through," said Steve Fisher, MDiv, chaplain at St. Vincent Salem Hospital. "This format will allow for listening, as well as sharing, if the attendees are moved to do so. We want to bring guidance and peace to those who are mourning the loss of a loved one."

This is the second in a series of brown bag lunch seminars dealing with grief. Registration is required. To register, call Chaplain Steve Fisher at 812-883-5881 ext. 1201.
