(MITCHELL) - A special Fiber Arts this Weekend at Spring Mill State Park offers a chance for the public to learn about felting, weaving, bobbin lace, tatting, spinning, quilting and more.
The event is in the park's Pioneer Village. Demonstrations and hands-on programs for adults and children will be offered throughout both days.
There will be a craft table set up both days on the residence lawn where visitors can make felted bead bracelets and learn needle felting.
There also will be opportunities to try spinning on a drop spindle, quilting or tatting.
Program times will be posted on bulletin boards in the park and in a flyer available in the grist mill.
Park admission is $5 per in-state vehicle and $7 per out-of-state vehicle. Annual Entrance Passes are also available.
