(GUTHRIE) - Lawrence County police are looking for a man and woman who attempted to steal a man’s truck Sunday night.
According to Sheriff Sam Craig, the driver reported he had passed a man and what looked like a pregnant woman on Logan Donica Road at the bridge around 10 p.m. and when he went back by around midnight the couple were still there and the male flagged the driver down.
The driver stopped and that is when the man allegedly grabbed the driver's arm and was attempting to pull him from the pickup saying "just give me the truck." The driver was able to drive away following the incident.
Officers are looking for a male that is about 6'2'', with short dark hair and was wearing tan cargo pants and a black t-shirt with white lettering. The woman, who was believed to be pregnant, was wearing a pink dress with a hoodie tied on it. She was attempting to hide her face from the driver.
Anyone with information about the incident or the individuals involved is asked to call police.
