Man Sentenced To Prison On Meth Charges

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was sentenced to a four years with the Department of Correction after he pleaded guilty to felony counts of possession of meth and escape.

29-year-old Daniel Glasgow was sentenced Thursday by Lawrence Superior Court II Judge William Sleva to two and a half years in prison for possessing meth. He was given credit for time served from April 2, 2013, through June 5, 2013; from July 25, 2013 through Aug. 1, 2013; and from March 2, 2014, through June 4, 2014.

Glasgow was sentenced to one and a half years to DOC for escape, and the two sentences will run consecutively. He did not receive any credit for time served in this case.

Glasgow also has to pay a $418 to the court.

On April 16, 2012, Glasgow was arrested for maintaining a common nuisance and possession of a precursor. On March 12, 2013, he was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear in court.

Then on April 2, 2013, while Glasgow was on parole, he was arrested again for possessing more than 3 grams of meth.
