Last updated on Friday, June 13, 2014

(BEDFORD) - An Indianapolis man was arrested after he reported a GMC truck stolen from the 500 block of Sugar Hill Addition Wednesday night and provided false information to investigators.

Officers recovered the truck a short time later after police received a call of a suspicious vehicle behind Root's Motel in Judah.

After recovering the truck, officers inventoried the contents and discovered drug paraphernalia.

Sheriff Sam Craig says that during the theft investigation, 24-year-old Gary Sturgeon-Morris became irate with police and provided false information on who owned the vehicle.

Morris was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, false informing, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
