(OOLITIC) - An Oolitic man was arrested after Lawrence County police received a 911 call Thursday afternoon from his sister reporting her brother 20-year-old Justin Reynolds was battering their grandmother and was going to kill her.
Reynolds fled the scene before police arrived on a yellow bicycle.
Officers from Lawrence County and Oolitic stopped Reynolds in the alley behind Sixth Street near the storage units.
Reynolds was arrested on charges of battery and interfering with a 911 call.
The injured woman refused medical treatment.
