Man Arrested After Domestic Fight

(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police were called to the 500 block of South Basswood Drive at 1:32 a.m. Sunday, after a woman reported she cut her boyfriend on the leg with a butcher’s knife in self-defense after he attacked her in bed and strangled her.

The woman says before she took control of the knife, her boyfriend attempted to stab her with it

Police arrested a 23-year-old Kaelyn Taylor of Indianapolis on preliminary charges of intimidation with a deadly weapon, strangulation and domestic battery.

The man told police his girlfriend hit him in the mouth and nose with a set of tongs. He reported he never had the knife and that he doesn't hit the women.
