(LOOGOOTEE) - The Loogootee Summer Fest is this weekend in downtown Loogootee.
Thursday through Saturday features food stands, craft booths and a carnival.
There will be a queen contest Thursday night in addition to an ice cream social.
Friday and Saturday night features musical entertainment.
Friday night Soul Street Band and Hubba Hubba and Easy Nows will perform.
The Saturday lineup has the band Pure Country from Indianapolis they covers vintage country classics, current country hits and a collection of originals. They have opened for John Conlee, Brad Paisley and the Kentucky Headhunters. Also Saturday you can hear local bluegrass band Prairie Creek.
