(CAMPBELLSBURG) - The annual Little Cowboy And Little Cowgirl Contest will be Saturday, at 4 p.m. at the shelterhouse.
Contestants need to come to the Campbellsburg Community Building, Saturday, June 1, at 3:15 p.m. to register and prepare for their "interview."
The contest is open to any child ages 2 through 12. Categories are: 2-4, 5-7 and 8-10.
Entry forms must be turned in with registration fee and are available at K & E Market in Campbellsburg. Entry forms will be available during the festival at the information booth and at registration desk, just prior to start of event. Entry fee is $5. Each entrant will receive a prize for participation. The winning cowboy entrant and cowgirl entrant in each age category will receive a $25 gift card.
A panel of judges will determine the winning cowboy and cowgirl. Western wear is encouraged but not absolutely necessary. For more information contact Beverly Kress 812-755-4353. Entry forms are available at K & E Market and during the festival at the information booth in the community building.
