(UNDATED) - The Indiana School Boards Association will be hosting candidate forums Wednesday, July 30th at Seymour and Thursday August 7th in Jasper.
These forums are designed to inform new candidates and incumbents about being a board member.
Topics to be discussed include the roles and responsibilities of being a school board member.
This fall, two positions in District 2 (Marion Township) of the Mitchell Community Schools and Districts 1, 2, 3 and 5 of the North Lawrence Community Schools are up for grabs.
Informational flyers are available at the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office, Room 11, in the Courthouse.
