Freetown Residents Hurt In Crash

(SEYMOUR) - A Jackson County couple were hospitalized Thursday after their vehicle ran up onto a guardrail and wound up on its side in the Von Fange Ditch on Seymour's west side.

Albert F. Duchaine, 87, and Freida Duchaine, 83, of Freetown, were taken by Jackson County Emergency Medical Services personnel to Schneck Medical Center after the wreck, reported at 3:13 p.m. Thursday.

Albert Duchaine was transferred to Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Seymour Officer Jacob Florine said.
