Dubois Co. Sheriff Asks for Public's Assistance in Shooting Investigation

(HILL HAVEN) - The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help concerning an accident over the weekend in the area of Hill Haven.

The driver told authorities his truck's windshield was hit by what deputies believe was a 150-grain, hollow point, boat tail slug.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Dubois County Sheriff's Department at 482-3522.

The sheriff's department is also urging shooters to use extreme caution when firing high-powered rifles and to be aware of their surroundings.
