Three Arrested After Police Find Meth

(BEDFORD) - Three people were arrested Saturday after Bedford Police officers discovered they had meth

Officers responded to the 400 block of Bellback Road after receiving a call of an alarm sounding at a home.

According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, when officers arrived they noticed three people across the street at a shelter house.

"When they went to investigate, one of the people had thrown a flashlight into the weeds," Parsley says.

The people told police their vehicle had broke down and the driver had walked to get gas. While talking to the people 32-year-old Brooke Todd of Bloomington, she started spitting up blood.

"They called a Seals ambulance and she was taken to IU Health Hospital for treatment," Parsley added. "Where she was treated and released."

Officers recovered the flashlight and found smoking devices and baggies that contained meth inside it.

They arrested Todd and 29-year-old Hank Dotson of Paragon as well as 36-year-old Nory Bruhn of Ellettsville on charges of public intoxication and possession of meth.
