(FREDERICKSBURG) - The Fredericksburg Lions Club is planning a yard sale and cookout to benefit little Anna Kaelin, who is waiting for a heart transplant at a hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Anna is 5 years old. Proceeds from the yard sale and cookout will benefit her and her family while they are waiting for her new heart.
The yard sale will be Saturday, May 10, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fredericksburg Town Hall building, downtown Fredericksburg. There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, cookies and drinks.
"Please come and support this event and help out this little angel and her family while they are waiting for her new heart," urge club members.
Anyone who has any old eyeglasses may also drop them off to the Lions that day.
