(BLOOMFIELD) - 31-year-old Amanda Rieman and 57-year-old William Rollins, both of Bloomfield, were arrested on Tuesday and face the following preliminary felony charges: manufacturing meth, possession of drug precursors with intent to manufacture and possession of meth.
According to a probable cause affidavit, the arrests were made after Indiana State Police Detective Jon Patrick followed up on a tip that Rieman, who was wanted on a warrant was living at her former Bloomfield home.
Officers arrived at the home around 11 p.m. on May 13 and saw Rieman's vehicle parked next to the home. Troopers knocked on the door but no one would answer although they heard movement inside and smelled the strong odor of ammonia. Officers forced their way into the home.
In a back bedroom officers found Rieman hiding in a closet.
While in the bedroom, officers smelled ammonia and found coffee filters, glass jars with clear liquid and items commonly used to ingest meth.
Rieman and Rollins were then arrested.
After securing a warrant officers found numerous items used to make meth including: Glass jar containing organic solvent, two bottles of lye, Pseudoephedrine, lithium batteries-both intact and stripped out, packages of instant cold packs, plastic tubing, coffee filters, a coffee grinder with a white powder residue, a plastic 2 liter bottle that was being used as a one pot reaction vessel, salt, paraphernalia, and two small plastic bags containing white powder that field tested positive for meth.
One of the plastic bags was reportedly found in Rieman's purse and the other was located on Rollins.
