(SALEM) - A Harrison County man who was wanted on a warrant was arrested after he fled from Harrison County police and was arrested after he crashed his car off Orchard Road Monday.
30-year-old Ian Goebel and his passenger, 24-year-old Kayla Sizemore, were arrested.
Despite the use of roadblocks and stop sticks, Goebel managed to elude police for miles, leading them on a chase through the countryside.
According to police, Goebel attempted to hit officer's cars head-on several times during the chase that covered several miles and two counties.
The chase ended when Washington County Police Detective Brent Miller bumped the Goebel's black Nissan, forcing him off the road.
