(BEDFORD) - Three eighth grade male Shawswick Middle School students were rushed to IU Health Hospital around 11:52 this morning after allegedly taking prescription medicines.
Lawrence County Police and ambulances from IU Health Hospital and a Seals ambulance and first responders from Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department rushed to the scene.
North Lawrence Community School Superintendent Gary Conner says the boys are being treated and does not know their current conditions.
Conner did say the boys were responsive when they were transported to the hospital.
Officers from the Lawrence County Police Department were also at the hospital investigating.
