(BLOOMINGTON) - The public is invited to attend the Bleeding Heartland Roller Derby Saturday for a double-header charity bout.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Bloomington Animal Shelter.
Bloomington's Jr. Roller Derby team, the Thunderbirds Roller Derby, will start off the night at 6 p.m. with an exhibition bout at Frank Southern Ice Area on South Henderson Street in Bloomington.
After that, the Bleeding Heartland Kittens will be taking on the Bleeding Heartland Unicorns in an annual Costume Charity Bout. There will be live rock 'n' roll music provided by Don't Call Me Betty.
