Paoli Senior Wins Awards In International Science and Engineering Fair

Last updated on Tuesday, May 27, 2014

(PAOLI) - Jordan Cadle, a Paoli High School senior, recently finished second place in the plant sciences category at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in California.

And last month, he finished first place in the life sciences category at the Junior National Science and Humanities Symposium in Washington, D.C.

He won these awards with his project, "Utilizing the Isolated Components, Variation in Mammals, and Treatment Processes of Milk for Grain Yield Enhancements."

The project's purpose is to increase the production of grain by using organic milk as a fertilizer. Cadle says the idea is it will create more energy for the plant.

Most of the research is conducted on Cadle's family farm, owned by his parents Danny and Katie Cadle.

After high school, Cadle plans to attend Purdue University where he will major in agricultural economics.
