(JASPER) - An off-duty Indiana State Trooper who stopped to assist the driver of a disabled vehicle in Jasper Thursday night ended up arresting the driver who was wanted on five charges out of Daviess County.
Police say 33-year-old Justin Blake of Cannelburg had run out of gas.
When the trooper stopped to assist, he conducted a background check and found that Blake was wanted in Daviess County on a warrant for a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia and False Informing.
Blake is now being held in the Daviess County Security Center on $25,000 bond.
