Police Stop Motorist Approaching Young Girls

(WASHINGTON) - At 2:40 p.m. Sunday, Washington City Police received a report of a man in a green Blazer had allegedly approached two 12-year-old girls who were walking downtown.

The girls told police the man stopped and asked where their parents were. The girls turned and ran and called police.

Officers were able to locate the driver and stopped him. He told police he was looking for a rental house. Officers told the man to not approach young girls and the man agreed to comply.
