(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police were called to IU Health Bloomington Hospital Wednesday morning after emergency room personnel reported they were treating a man who had been assaulted.
Bloomington Police Sgt. Joe Crider says the 36-year-old man was ordering a sandwich from a food truck near Kirkwood Avenue and Dunn Street when someone struck him in the face, causing him to fall on the ground.
Crider says a detective is investigating the incident. Anyone with information about the assault is asked to call police.
