(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police were called to the 1440 block of North Arlington Road, at 8 p.m. Tuesday, after a report of gunfire at the Arlington Park apartments.

A witness told police they heard a commotion outside and saw three men arguing. One man reportedly ordered the second man to "Go get a gun."

According to the witness, that man fired six rounds from a handgun into the air and gathered the spent shell casings.

According to Sgt. Joe Crider, officers obtained a search warrant for the suspect's apartment and found a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun with a magazine that was not full and a Smith & Wesson revolver.

Police arrested 27-year-old Danny Samuel Collay on preliminary charges of criminal recklessness with a firearm and possession of a handgun without a permit. He was booked into Monroe County Jail at 1:07 a.m. Wednesday, and his bond was set at $5,000 surety, $500 cash.
