Linton Man Arrested After Biting Woman

(LINTON) - 47-year-old Paul Roby of Linton was arrested Wednesday after allegedly battering a woman and making threatening comments to two officers on the Linton Police Department.

According to police, Roby is accused of biting a woman on the right forearm and head head-butting her three times after consuming bottle liquor following an argument. According to police the woman suffered several bite marks, had red welts and bruising on her arms, face and left eye.

Roby is accused of climbing on top of the woman while she was lying on a bad and held her down until she wsa able to force her way free. She then ran to a neighbors and called for help.

When police arrived they found Roby laying on a bed. Roby then became verbally abusive to the officers and threatened to beat both officers.

Roby faces preliminary charges of two counts of intimidation, a Class D felony, and domestic battery resulting in bodily injury, a Class A misdemeanor.
