Last updated on Wednesday, May 7, 2014

(BLOOMINGTON) - Firefighters spent more than an hour at the Arby’s on Bloomington’s west side Tuesday morning, putting out flames in the restaurant’s back wall.

Firefighters responded to the fire at 3300 West Third St. at 7:19 a.m. and cleared the scene by 8:51 a.m.

According to Bloomington FIre Department Sgt. Brandon Hudson, firefighters found smoke pushing from a stucco wall at the rear of the outside of the building. Firefighters had to open that wall to expose and extinguish the blaze.

Brandon estimates damage at around $30,000.
