(GREENE CO.) - There’s something new and exciting coming to the 2014 Greene County Fair.

The Greene County Daily World reports, 4-H officials have announced that a "Greene County's Got Talent" contest will be staged and contestants are being sought.

Enrollment of single or group acts is now underway and will continue until June 18. Auditions will be conducted on Sunday, June 29, starting at 1 p.m. at the fairgrounds. The top 15 acts will advance to the finals and will perform at the Greene County Fair on Saturday July 12 at 6:30 p.m.

All acts are limited to act per person/group and must be under five minutes in length, according to event coordinator Cris Floyd.

"The winning act will be determined by popular vote on the night of the performances," Floyd said.

Entry fee is $5 for a single act and $10 for a group.
