(BEDFORD) - Bedford officials are looking for an architectural firm to help downtown building owners to rehabilitate and renovate facades around the Lawrence County Courthouse Square.

In December the city had selected Rowland Design Inc., of Indianapolis to head up the Stellar Community grant project, but Mayor Shawn Girgis says the city and company could not close on a deal on the number of facades that would be completed.

The city is now discussing the project with DLZ. Officials say the switch shouldn't cause a delay in starting the project.
