Brain Games XIII Resumes Tonight

(BEDFORD) - Brain Games XIII began Tuesday at Little Theatre of Bedford. The annual event is a fundraiser for the Lawrence County Museum of History.

There were 16 teams in action with eight advancing to next week's second round. An additional 16 teams will play tonight.

Tuesday's results:

  • Cosner's Gun and Knife Shop (Mitchell teachers) defeated Flinn Farms, 160-60.
  • Tri-County Builders defeated Steele & Steele, 140-100.
  • Little Theatre of Bedford defeated Pynco 2, 150-50.
  • Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home (Ann-Margret) beat Pynco 1, 150-110.
  • In Memory of Harold McReynolds defeated Rotary Club of Bedford, 160-40.
  • Skyhaven Entertainment beat IU Health Bedford Hospital, 70-60.
  • GM Powertrain (Bertha's Mission 2) defeated Bedford Ford Lincoln Roush, 110-100.
  • Hoosier National Forest employees (Smokey Bear team) beat Disabled American Veterans (Bertha's Mission 1), 110-70.

Tonights night's match-ups:

  • 6:35 p.m.: Jim & Rowena Mount "Bedford Hiking Club" vs. Lehigh Cement "Generation Gap."
  • 6:55 p.m.: Friends of the Museum "Bedford Chamber" vs. RSI "Little Theatre Team 2."
  • 7:15 p.m.: Day & Carter Mortuary vs. Hoosier PC "Team Wessel."
  • 7:35 p.m.: Inklings/Hoosier Hills Credit Union vs. Judy Macy State Farm Insurance.
  • 8:05 p.m.: Bedford Evening Lions Club vs. JKI Engineering.
  • 8:25 p.m.: Bedford Furniture Galleries "The District" vs. Halstead Properties NYC Relocation Services.
  • 8:45 p.m.: Root's RV vs. Jason Jackson - Edward Jones.
  • 9:05 p.m.: Orleans Chamber of Commerce "Orleans Alumni" vs. Bedford Laser Wash.

Teams will play at the same time in the second round as they did in the first round. Next Tuesday night's winners will advance to the May 15 championship round.
