(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after police say he supplied a 15-year-old female with some pills and wine.

Police arrested 18-year-old Curtis Mason. He is now facing a felony charge of dealing in a schedule IV controlled substance.

According to a probable cause affidavit, on May 6, Mason allegedly picked up the girl, who skipped school, and provided her with alcohol and a drug before taking her to a trailer at Pride Estates to have sex with her.

Mason told the girl the wine and pills would "relax" her.

Detectives then questioned Mason, who admitted he had picked up the girl before school and they went to a friend's trailer in Pride Estates. He also admitted to giving the girl a Xanax pill and some Boone's Farm wine.

After the investigation, the information was forwarded to the prosecutor's office and a warrant was issued for Mason.
