Arsonist Believed To Have Started Two Washington Fires

(WASHINGTON) - Washington Firefighters battled 2 abandoned house fires early Wednesday, officials say both are suspicious arson fires.

Firefighters were called to called to 315 Northwest 10th Street at 1:35 am to a home owned by Darbie Graber.

Then at 2:20 a.m. firefighters recevied a second call reporting a fire at 213 Northwest 6th. The house is owned by Rebecca Cox.

Fire Chief Dave Rhoads says two people were located in both areas and they were questioned.

He says one was arrested in connection with what's believed to be a separate incident.

Police are not releasing the names of those they talked too, because the fires are still under investigation.
