(BEDFORD) - An Oolitic woman suffered minor injures in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of 16th Street and Plaza Drive Thursday morning
According to a Bedford Police report, Gary Diehl was traveling west on 16th Street and was attempting to a make a left-hand turn onto Plaza Drive when he failed to yeild the right of way and his 2011 Chevrolet Equinox collided with a 2001 Ford F-150 driven by Donna Lee of Oolitic.
According to police, Lee was traveling east on 16th Street when Diehl ventured into the eastbound lane attempting to make the turn and collided head-on with Lee's truck.
A witness at the scene told police Diehl did not have a green turn arrow when he attempted to turn onto Plaza Drive.
Diehl was not injured. Lee suffered contusions and bruises to her elbow and lower arm.
