(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Police are investigating a report of a man being injured by his wife during a domestic fight in the 100 block of Treslar Street Tuesday afternoon.
According Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig, officers were called to a home at 1:43 p.m. after a man asked a neighbor to call police.
The man was bleeding from his head and told police his wife had assaulted him causing the injury.
According to Craig the man was treated at the scene but refused to go to the hospital.
The incident is still under investigation.
