(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was sentenced to eight years in prison for dealing heroin.

Stacie Reed is one of five people who were arrested after the Lawrence County Drug Task Force and Bedford Police Swat Team raided a home in the 100 block of J Hunter Drive on June 14.

Lawrence County Superior Court Judge William Sleva sentenced 47-year-old Reed to 8 years in prison for dealing in a schedule I controlled substance within a 1,000 feet of a school with a credit for 250 days served, one year of electronic monitoring and one year of supervised probation.
