(WORTHINGTON) - A Worthington woman was arrested Saturday after she allegedly broke a neighbor's window and then hit the woman with a metal pole.
Worthington police were called to a home on Canal Street around 10:30 p.m. to find several people screaming. Debra Westfall was allegedly intoxicated and staggering around. Westfall told police she needed help with a situation involving her neighbor.
Westfall became very agitated when she saw her neighbor waiting for police and began to call her names. Deputy Harroll told Westfall to go home but she began yelling profanities from her driveway and continued after several warnings to stop.
The neighbor told police that she opened her door after hearing someone beating on things on her front porch and was confronted by Westfall. The neighbor told Westfall to leave and that is when Westfall began calling the woman names and hit her on the arm with a metal rod.
The woman went back into her home to call police and that is when Westfall allegedly broke her window and she saw Westfall come around the corner of her home without any clothing on.
Westfall then went to her home to get a robe and returned to harass her neighbor.
Westfall was arrested and is facing preliminary charges of disorderly conduct, and battery resulting in bodily injury. She has since posted bond and was released from the Greene County Jail.
