(WASHINGTON) - A Washington man is in jail after hitting his girlfriend with a glass.
Around 8:15 Monday night, Washington Police were called to a home on Cosby Road after a woman called police reporting 57-year-old Richard Graham had hit her sister in the face with a glass.
When police arrived, Graham had left the home. The woman was taken to Daviess Community Hospital's emergency room for treatment.
Her two children who were present during the altercation were placed with a family member, while their mother was being treated.
Police found Graham about 20 minutes later at a home on North West 17th Street. He was arrested on charges of domestic battery causing bodily injury.
