'Walk With Ease' Arthritis Classes Begin April 22

(MITCHELL) - Hoosier Uplands Aging Division is offering the Arthritis Foundation's "Walk With Ease" program.

The program teaches how to safely make physical activity part of everyday life. It will help people with arthritis manage their pain. Organizers said it is also ideal for people without arthritis.

The first class will be from 10-11:15 a.m. on April 22 at the Mitchell Senior Center, 101 Tom Green Drive. The class will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, for 18 sessions. There will also be a class from 10-11:15 a.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays beginning April 23 for 18 sessions. This class is at the Paoli Senior Center, 119 S.W. Second St., Paoli.

The program is free.
