Three Injured In Sunday Morning Crash

Last updated on Wednesday, April 30, 2014

(NEEDMORE) - Three people were injured after a crash on Ind. 37 and Trogden Lane Sunday morning.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 28-year-old Roger Wall was on Trogden Lane and was facing west and was stopped at the stop sign. 68-year-old Rebecca Yurchiak of Barberton was traveling north on Ind. 37 in a 2009 Toyota Venza.

Police say Wall then pulled his 1993 Chevrolet truck into the path of Yurchiak's vehicle, striking the vehicle in the right rear side. That caused Yurchiak's vehicle to spin and travel off the east side of the road. The vehicle then went down an embankment and rolled onto its top.

Wall told police he didn't see Yurchiak's vehicle when he pulled into the intersection.

Wall was not injured during the incident. Yurchiak complained of neck pain. Her passengers, 40-year-old Paul Yurchiak and 8-year-old Luke Yurchiak, both of Greenfield, complained of back and neck pain.

Wall was cited for failure to yield the right of way, operating a vehicle without financial responsibility and expired driver's license.
