The informant who wore a wire and a video recorder and was given cash went to Wampler-Schmidt's home. The information was not able to buy any meth, but did video the man cutting meth on a desk and videoed another woman smoking meth.

Police secured a search warrant and went to Wampler-Schmidt's home Thursday, where they arrested him, 23-year-old Charles Pursell of Springville and 30-year-old Misty Bush of Bloomington.

Police found 3 grams of meth, digital scales, smoking devices, plastic baggies, numerous syringes, a prescription of Subozone for Pursell, and numerous other drug related items.

Wampler-Schmidt admitted he had been selling meth and that Pursell and Bush had been living with him.

All three were charged with possession of meth over 3 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance. Bush and Wampler-Schmidt are also facing charges of possession of meth over 3 grams with the intent to deal. Wampler-Schmidt was also wanted on a warrant in Monroe County.
