Health Insurance Assistance Program Counselors To Visit Residents

(MITCHELL) - Counselors from the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) will make several visits to the area in the coming weeks.

They will be available to answer questions and assist individuals with the Medicare Savings Program and Extra Help, two programs to assist seniors in paying their Medicare premiums and co-pays.

The counselors' schedule includes:

The Salem Public Library, 212 N. Main St., 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

Community Health and Wellness/WIC, St. Vincent Dunn Plaza, Mitchell Road, Bedford, from 1-4 p.m. on Thursday.

Hoosier Uplands office, 902 Aspen Drive, Salem, 9 a.m. to noon on April 29.

Borden Public Library, Borden, 9 a.m. to noon on May 6.

Melton Public Library, French Lick, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., on May 8.
