Spring Mill State Park Looking For Volunteers

(MITCHELL) - Spring Mill State Park is looking for volunteers.

If you are interested in volunteering visit the Pioneer village between 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on April 12.

An informational table will be set up at the Upper Residence in the village to offer ideas on how you can help.

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • An attendant at the Nature Center
  • A docent at the Grissom Memorial
  • Help interpreters with program preparations
  • Help clean the historic cabins in the Pioneer Village
  • Craft people can demonstrate a traditional craft in the park
  • Hikers can do trail assessments or pick up trash
