UPDATED: Rising Water Closes Roads In Southeast Indiana

(SEYMOUR) - High waters have caused closure of state highways at numerous locations across southeast Indiana. The Indiana Department of Transportation reports these following roadways as currently closed to traffic:

The closures will remain in effect until waters recede. The following sections of roadway have either been closed or INDOT is advising motorists to use caution around these areas of high water:

Rising Waters Close State Roads in Vincennes District
Drivers encouraged using caution around flooded roadways

Daviess & Pike Counties
SR 257, from US 50 (Washington) to SR 356 (Otwell)

Greene & Owen Counties
SR 43, from SR 54 (Ridgeport) to SR 48 (Whitehall)

Knox & Daviess Counties
SR 358, from SR 67 (Edwardsport) to SR 57 (Plainville)

Martin & Lawrence Counties
SR 450, from US 50 (Shoals) to SR 158 (Bedford)

Orange County
SR 56, from SR 145 (French Lick) to US 150 (West Baden)

Perry County
SR 66, from SR 166 (Rocky Point) to SR 70 (Derby)
SR 66, from SR 70 (Derby) to SR 62 (Sulphur)

Spencer County
SR 62, from SR 162 (Gentryville) to US 231 (Dale)
**OPEN**SR 62, from SR 145 (Siberia) to SR 545 (St. Meinrad)
**OPEN**SR 545, from SR 62 (St. Meinrad) to SR 66 (Troy)

Warrick & Spencer Counties
SR 62, from SR 161 to Old US 231 (Dale)
SR 161, from SR 66 (Hatfield) to SR 62 (DeGonia Springs)
