One Injured In Three-Vehicle Collision On Ind. 37

(OOLITIC) - A Bedford woman was injured after a three-vehicle collision on Ind. 37 at the Oolitic stoplight Monday night.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 18-year-old Kaleb Wagers was in the turn lane in the southbound lane of Ind. 37 and told police he had the green turn arrow as he entered the intersection.

As Wagers entered the intersection his 2001 Toyota Highlander collided with a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am driven by 18-year-old Emily Douglas.

According to police, Douglas was traveling north on Ind. 37 when the crash happened. Douglas told police she had the green light.

After the two vehicles collided, a third vehicle a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am, driven by 32-year-old Jennifer Marshall, hit the rear of Douglas' car.

Wagers, of Oolitic, and Marshall, of 213 Westwood Dr., were not injured. Douglas, of 644 Wallner Quarry Rd., complained of body pain.
