Norman Woman Arrested For Stealing From Bliss House Resident

(BEDFORD) - A Norman woman was arrested after she was caught on video tape taking money from a resident's purse at Bliss House.

According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, 42-year-old Cindy Ehringer is facing a charge of theft. Parsley says the thefts of cash began in February.

The family set up a video recorder in the room and then placed money in the woman's purse. When they went to check to see if the money was still there, they discovered it was missing.

The family, executive director and police reviewed the video which showed Ehringer get into the purse, take the money and put it in her pocket.
