(LOOGOOTEE) - Loogootee officials made the decision to lower the cost for citizens to register their golf carts.
The city council decided that instead of the previous $25 a year for registration, citizens will now only pay $25 for the initial year of registration.
After that, golf cart owners will pay $10 a year to pay for the registration sticker.
The city does make a small profit from the registrations.
