(BEDFORD) - It’s not too early to begin working on fair exhibits.
The Lawrence County 4-H Fair Board will again sponsor open class exhibits which are open to adults and children from Lawrence County and the surrounding area.
Exhibitors will compete to place first, second or third in their respective categories, with cash awards being given for special contests and the best exhibit in each project.
Entries for Open Class competitions will be accepted in July. The entry fee is $5 for up to 10 exhibits, and $1 for each additional exhibit.
Exhibitors are asked to bring their items to the Home & Family Arts building from 4 - 7 p.m. July 9 and 9-11 a.m. July 12 No preregistration is required.
Children 12 and under may also enter exhibits in the "Creative Kids" category. The entry fee is $1 per child.
