(BEDFORD) - IU Health Bedford Hospital hosts the Better Breathers Club, a support group for those with chronic lung disease.
The group provides an opportunity for those living with lung disease and their loved ones to talk with others in a similar situation and learn about their condition from healthcare professionals.
The club meets the third Thursday of every month from 3 to 4:30 pm and discusses a wide range of topics, such as how COPD affects the lungs, breathing techniques, medications and other treatment options, exercise and home health care.
All meetings are held at the IU Health Bedford Community Health room, 2900 W. 16th St, Bedford. Registration is not necessary.
