Groovin' Storytime With Miss Michelle At Mitchell Community Public Library

(MITCHELL) - Bring your child to the Mitchell Community Public Library in April for a groovin’ storytime with Miss Michelle.

The Book to Boogie series will feature fun books to read and dance to as well as a craft. A new book will be introduced each week with chances to attend the morning boogie on Mondays at 10 a.m. or evening boogie on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. The program is designed for ages 4-6 but older kids are welcome.

April 10: "Mouse Paint" by Ellen Stoll Walsh. Participants will learn about basic color mixing by painting with marbles.

April 14 and 17: "Tip Tip Dig Dig" by Emma Garcia. Participants will make their very own bulldozer out of construction paper.

April 21 and 24: "How To Be A Cat" by Nikki McClure. Students will make cat masks to wear during the feline dance.

April 28: "Giraffes Can't Dance" by Giles Andreae. Participants will be painting a giraffe using different parts of the hand.
