(BLOOMFIELD) - The Greene County Master Gardeners will host 10th annual Flower and Patio Show Saturday, April 26th and Sunday, April 27th, 2014.
The show has moved to the Commercial Building, but it is still at the Greene County Fair Grounds, 4503 West State Road 54, Bloomfield, IN. The hours are Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Admission and parking are free; there are several activities for children where they can make something to take home.
Vendors will offer a wide variety of items that will please everyone. There will be trees, bushes, annual and perennial plants, hanging baskets, herbs, garden equipment, garden art, tools, home decor and much more.
Each visitor will receive a free tree while supply lasts.
Master Gardeners will be available to answer gardening questions, and to give information on how to become a Master Gardener.
They will also have a plant table with sales of plants from their own gardens. There will be information on cooking with herbs and you will be able to sample some tasty treats, and receive the recipe.
Food will be available from "Happy Matt's BBQ". He has smoked beef brisket as well as other delicious choices. The Greene County Extension Homemakers will be having a bake sale as well as serving deserts and beverages.
