Pocket Knives Banned From Courthouse

Last updated on Wednesday, April 23, 2014

(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig is asking residents that are doing early voting at the courthouse or a visiting the treasurer’s office to pay their taxes to refrain from bringing pocket knives and other items into the courthouse.

Craig says that officers at the security check points cannot hold the items for residents while they conduct their business at the courthouse and residents will be asked to take the items back to their vehicles.
